Eight curated categories to look through before you send a link to GuaBase, plus what to do when a find turns out to be on Weidian instead of Taobao or Tmall.

The eight categories on this page

These eight cards are a starting point, not the full list. Each one opens a live, categorised result page with a wider spread of items than fits on this page.

How this connects to an order

Three-step diagram: open a category, copy the item you want, submit it on GuaBase.
Three short hops. None of them require an account on this site, because this site does not take payments.

Nothing on this page is for sale directly. The cards above link out to a shared product list; from there, the usual path is to note the item (its link, or its keyword and shop name) and finish the order on GuaBase itself.

That split exists because this site does not take payment, hold stock, or run a checkout. It curates and documents; GuaBase purchases, inspects, and ships.

Eight categories is a deliberately small sample, chosen to span footwear, outerwear, everyday tops, bottoms, bags, watches, electronics, and fragrance rather than to exhaustively cover every subcategory. The underlying list is much larger; these cards exist to show what the spread looks like, not to be the only entry point. Jeans and sneakers alone each cover several hundred individual listings behind their card.

Pricing shown on an individual listing, where a card leads to one, is the seller's own price in CNY at the time the list was last refreshed, not a quote from GuaBase. The actual item cost used for the service fee calculation is confirmed only once GuaBase places the purchase, which can differ slightly if a promotional price has expired in the meantime.

When a find sits outside Taobao or Tmall

The shared product list this Spreadsheet draws from is not limited to one marketplace, so a card can occasionally point at a Weidian (微店) storefront item rather than a Taobao or Tmall listing. That distinction matters here specifically because GuaBase's own paste-a-link flow is built around Taobao and Tmall URLs.

If an item you want turns out to be on Weidian, pasting its link into GuaBase's order box is not the right path. GuaBase's help center lists “assisted purchasing”, a manual request form, as the route for items its automatic search cannot pull in directly; that is the one to use for a Weidian find, and generally for anything a search by keyword, image, or link does not resolve cleanly.

Checking the listing's own page before submitting it is the simplest way to avoid the detour: a Taobao or Tmall item can be pasted straight in, while anything else is worth a manual request instead of a guess.

The same caution applies to 1688, the wholesale marketplace. GuaBase's own long-form guide says it is supported, while its How It Works page and homepage list only Taobao and Tmall, and the site's own capability flag for 1688 read as switched off during this site's October 2026 check. Until GuaBase resolves that inconsistency on its own pages, a 1688 find is another case worth confirming with support or routing through assisted purchasing rather than assuming it will behave like a Taobao link.

None of this is a reason to avoid a Weidian or 1688 find altogether, assisted purchasing exists specifically for cases a direct link cannot resolve. It is only a reason to expect an extra step, a manual request reviewed by a person rather than an instant automated pull, and to budget a little more time for that review before assuming the item is confirmed.
